Colonoscopy

 

Two endoscopy suites are available for colonoscopies making it easier to schedule most colonoscopies in the morning. After the colonoscopy, patients recover in our Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) before going home.

 

CT Colonography, a new and sophisticated procedure, is also available. While the test preparation is similar to a colonoscopy, CT Colonography is performed in a CT Scanner in our Imaging Department.
