Heart Attacks

 

We provide rapid diagnosis of an acute myocardial infarction (heart attack) following guidelines by the American College of Cardiology.

 

Depending on the patient's condition and diagnosis we can provide thrombolytic therapy in our Emergency Department or immediate transfer for cardiac catheterization or other cardiac procedures to another facility that is appropriate for the patient's condition.

 

Emergencies can be transferred by ambulance or medical helicopter. We have nine cardiac monitored beds in the Emergency Department.
