New Castle pediatrician Dr. Lisa Powers Richmond has achieved board certification in pediatrics by the American Board of Pediatrics. Dr. Richmond is a partner in New Castle Pediatrics which provides care for infants, children and adolescents living in New Castle and Henry, Rush and Wayne Counties.

 

In order to become board certified, Dr. Richmond passed a comprehensive written examination demonstrating her knowledge and skills required for medical care of infants, children and adolescents.

 

In her practice she provides newborn care, well-baby, well-child and well-adolescent visits and exams and developmental screening. Dr. Richmond also manages chronic illnesses such as asthma and treats illnesses and minor injuries.

 

Dr. Richmond is the medical director of New Castle Pediatrics. She completed her undergraduate degree at Butler University, her MD degree from Indiana University and residency at Riley Hospital for Children. And, she is a 1997 graduate of New Castle Chrysler High School.

 

New Castle Pediatrics is a designated Rural Health Clinic and serves families not only in Henry, Rush and Wayne counties, but also Delaware, Fayette, Hancock, Madison and Randolph.
