The physicians at New Castle Pediatrics and New Castle Family Physicians would like to remind parents now is the time to get those school physicals out of the way. Avoid that last minute rush in August.
Don't forget there are new vaccination requirements for students entering grades 6-12. Appropriate documentation is needed for the following:

Diphtheria

Acellular Pertussis (Tdap)

Meningococcal Conjugate (MCV4-Menactra)

2 Chickenpox (varicella) appropriately spaced per CDC guidelines, or documentation of disease history or laboratory evidence of immunity
