What medicines are you taking? This is one of the first questions you are asked when you come to the Emergency Department, check-in at the hospital or visit your doctor.
You are asked this information every time to make sure nothing has changed since your last visit.
You can bring your medicines in their original bottles with you. Or bring a list of your current medicines including the dosages and how often you take the medicine. Keeping a copy of this list with you at all times is important in case you need emergency medical care.
If you would like a free wallet-sized card just for this purpose stop in any Neighborhood Pharmacy: Fred's, 320 S. Main St., Forest Ridge, 2200 Forest Ridge Parkway, or in the Physician Office Center at Henry County Hospital.
