Henry County Heart Society's 3rd Annual Heart Walk is moving. This year's event will be held on the track at New Castle High School's Huffman Field from 9 am-noon, Saturday, Oct. 6.
"We're very excited about this new location," says Melissa Millikan, Heart Walk chairman and board member of Henry County Heart Society. "We even have a contingency plan to walk in the field house in case of inclement weather," she added.
Registration is required and is $25 in advance or $30 the day of the event. Those registering before Sept. 14 will receive a T-shirt. Along with goodie bags and door prizes this year they are adding a vendor fair. If you are interested in participating, contact Melissa at 524.0010. |
