To help keep you safe, we need information about ALL your medicines when you come to the hospital or visit your physician.
Bring your medicine bottles with you when you come to the hospital. Or
a list of your current medicines including the dosages and how often you take the medicine. ALWAYS keep this list with you in case you need emergency care.
We need to know about ALL medicines
- Prescription medicines including why you are taking it, the dosage, when you take it and how often
- Vitamins and supplements such as Echinacea
- Over the counter medicines such as aspirin, cough and cold medicines
- Nicotine patches
- Allergic reactions
