Scholarships Available For
Nursing and Health Care Careers
Henry County Hospital Foundation offers a variety of scholarships for students interested in health care careers and working at Henry County Hospital after graduation.
These scholarships are typically given to students interested in a nursing career. They are available for high school seniors as well as for adults who are considering a new or second career in health care.
In the last three years 80 nursing scholarships worth $128,000 have been awarded. Funding for the scholarships comes from the Hospital Foundation's annual Gala, the HCH Cookbook, donations from the Henry County Hospital Auxiliary and endowments established by Sylvira Flanagan Koons, Alice Catherine Ratcliffe, LaVaughn Bailey, Gordon Sparks and Ralph Bunner.
