| Put Your Red Dress On! - 2/1/2010 |
Are you looking for a great night out that's all about fun and fitness and food and friends? Look no further, the second annual Affairs of the Heart event highlighting women and heart disease is back and bigger and better than the inaugural event.
Mark your calendar for 4 pm, Tuesday, Feb. 23 at First Baptist Church Family Life Center.
You say you want to visit area vendors catering to women and their interests. There will be booths on heart disease, of course, but also on women's health and beauty, area fitness programs, educational opportunities, and even food demonstrations. Click here for an updated list of vendors. And, you won't go hungry because there will be vendors there tempting you with treats they have prepared just for you.
You say you want an interesting program. Beginning at 7 pm in the sanctuary Henry County Cardiology cardiologist Nathan Millikan, MD will emcee and provide heart facts every woman should know. Also speaking will be Lisa Pfenninger on her personal experience with a HeartScan and Rebecca Milligan, physical therapist and beauty consultant. You won't want to miss their inspiring messages.
Also featured during the program will be the distributing of door prizes - lots of door prizes. But, you must be present to win and all that is asked of you is to fill out a survey.
Entertainment will be provided by Twilight featuring Ivy Deen and Sophie Walker.
No reservation need. And, the first 500 women will receive a free goodie bag filled with surprises including a special red heart bracelet.
Thank you to our many sponsors!
